OSAYABA GIWA-OSAGIE LL.B (HONS) WARWICK, B.L., NOTARY PUBLIC Mr. Giwa - Osagie is the Senior and founding Partner of the firm. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Warwick, England, where he graduated in 1985. Mr. Giwa-Osagie was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986 and thereafter worked briefly in the chambers of Chief G.O.K. Ajayi (S.A.N). He also worked with Mr. Abayomi Sogbesan (S.A.N) until 1989 before setting up the present practice on a full time basis. He has presented papers at various seminars, amongst which are papers titled "Contract Variation" at a National seminar and another paper titled "Credit Risk, Securitisation and Loan Guarantees in Nigeria" at a seminar organized by the United Nations Centre on Transnational Corporations. Mr. Giwa-Osagie is the co-author of Privatization in Nigeria published in the International Privatization Review by Euromoney in the 2000/2001 edition. He also presented a paper on libel at the International Bar Association Conference held in Durban in 2001. Mr. Giwa - Osagie has vast experience in civil litigation, banking laws, foreign investment laws, mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications, arbitration and aviation laws. He recently attended an advanced course on Project Finance organised by Euromoney in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a member of the International Bar Association, Nigerian Maritime Law Association, the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and a Notary Public. He is also the Honorary Legal Adviser to the Nigerian-South African Chamber of Commerce. TEMI HENRIETTA HARRIMAN LL.B (HONS) LONDON, B.L, LLM LONDON Ms Harriman is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984 and subsequently called to the English Bar in 1989 of Gray’s Inn. Temi was educated at the School of Oriental and African Studies and the London School of Economics of the University of London, and Webster University, London Campus, from where she took a B.A (Hons) (Law and Anthropology), 1983; LL.M, 1986; and M.B.A, 1992 respectively. She is presently a Member of the House of Representatives Warri Federal Constituency. She sits on the House Committees on Petroleum, Justice, Defence. MRS. BOSE GIWA-OSAGIE. LL.B (HONS) IFE, B.L, M.I.L.D (UNILAG) Mrs. Bose Giwa - Osagie read law at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile - Ife and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. She obtained a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy (M.I.L.D) in 1990 from the University of Lagos. Ogunu obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from the Bendel State University, Ekpoma and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991. Mr. Ogunu holds a Master’s degree in law from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He also holds a Stock Market Agent’s Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Stock Brokers and is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
